Cookie Notice (Mechawork) — D11V3 / v1.3

Website: mechawork.com
Effective Date: 29 May 2026

Scope: This notice explains the cookies and comparable technical local-storage tools used on mechawork.com, together with the limited anonymous site-usage statistics operation.

1) What Are Cookies and Similar Technical Tools?

Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. Similar technical tools may be used for session management, security, language preferences, basket operations and limited technical-statistics functions.

2) The Approach Used by Mechawork

Mechawork may use necessary/technical tools required for site operation and security, together with restricted first-party anonymous-statistics tools intended to measure general site use and technical operation. The purposes are limited to:

  • operating the site securely and reliably,
  • performing session, basket and checkout operations,
  • form security and technical verification,
  • preserving language or basic interface preferences,
  • understanding anonymous visit and navigation patterns in approved public page groups,
  • monitoring limited technical-error classes in approved public areas on an aggregated basis,
  • evaluating reduced external-source and public first-landing trends,
  • evaluating general usage distribution by broad device class and interface language.

3) Active Technical Cookies Used for Univermobil Analitik

Mechawork uses the following restricted first-party technical cookies within Univermobil Analitik, which operates on Mechawork’s own server:

  • uma_visit: Used for short-lived anonymous statistics measurement, approximate unique visits and calculation of approved page-group transitions within the same anonymous session. It is a random/opaque technical measurement token and does not carry user identity, account information, IP address, order, basket, payment or SMS-verification information. It is not used for advertising or user profiling.
  • uma_notice_presented: A signed technical marker used to record that this information layer was shown to the browser and to limit repeated presentation while the active measurement scope and displayed information remain unchanged. It is not a record of acceptance, permission or marketing consent.

uma_visit may be used within a maximum technical lifetime of 24 hours. uma_notice_presented is used within the browser session and is subject to a maximum server-side technical-validity limit of 24 hours. If the active measurement scope or displayed information changes, an existing information marker is invalidated and updated information is presented.

4) Limited Anonymous Site-Usage Statistics

Univermobil Analitik produces aggregated statistics only for predefined public page groups. This operation may report:

  • view counts for approved public page groups,
  • approximate unique-visit and anonymous-session counts within short-lived anonymous measurement,
  • aggregated navigation transitions between approved public page groups,
  • aggregated counts of 403 and 404 technical-result classes occurring after information presentation and limited to approved public areas,
  • source-category, canonical source-domain and public first-landing page-group statistics solely for approved and reduced external-source classifications,
  • broad device class, such as desktop, mobile, tablet or unknown device class,
  • aggregated general usage distribution by interface language,
  • aggregated distribution by approximate country, province/region and city where local DB-IP processing is operational.

Arbitrary page suffixes, private transaction flows, visitor-specific private content, arbitrary external-link addresses and raw user-agent values are not retained as analytics reporting dimensions.

5) Restriction of External-Source and Device Information

Within Univermobil Analitik:

  • Where a visit has an external source, source information is evaluated only at the level of a predefined approved category and canonical domain; limited categories such as search, social or video source may be used.
  • External sources that do not match a predefined approved rule are reduced to a general external-source class without retaining detailed domains or link paths.
  • User-agent information sent by the browser is evaluated temporarily only to determine a broad device class or exclude requests that are plainly automated/bot traffic.
  • Raw user-agent values and records constituting a device fingerprint are not retained in analytics storage.

6) Approximate Location Information — Local DB-IP Processing

Within anonymous site-usage statistics, approximate country, province/region and city information for a visit may be derived using the DB-IP IP to City Lite database stored locally on our server.

The IP address is technically processed during this local derivation; the IP address is not recorded in analytics reporting tables or analytics logs. Approximate location data is evaluated only within aggregated site-usage statistics and is not linked to user accounts, drafts, baskets, orders, payments or SMS-verification/broker data.

Under this local operation, a visitor’s IP address is not remotely transmitted to DB-IP or to another third-party visitor-analytics provider.

7) Areas Excluded from Measurement Scope

Univermobil Analitik operates only within publicly accessible page groups relating to general site usage. The following private transaction areas remain outside the analytics measurement scope:

  • account, membership, registration and login flows,
  • personalisation-draft areas,
  • basket and checkout flows,
  • order areas,
  • payment flows,
  • phone-verification and SMS-broker flows,
  • administration and system-specific private-operation areas.

Anonymous analytics outputs are not matched with user-specific or transaction-specific data in these areas.

8) Tools Not Used Within This Operation

The current Univermobil Analitik operation does not use:

  • Google Analytics or comparable third-party visitor-analytics transfers,
  • advertising, marketing or retargeting cookies,
  • social-media tracking pixels,
  • behavioural-profiling tracking tools,
  • storage of raw IP addresses in analytics reporting tables or analytics logs,
  • storage of raw user-agent values in analytics storage,
  • storage of arbitrary external referrer links as analytics reporting dimensions,
  • linkage of anonymous analytics outputs to accounts, drafts, baskets, orders, payments or SMS verification.

If this scope changes in the future, this notice and the related information layer will be updated.

9) Retention Periods

The retention boundaries applied within Univermobil Analitik are as follows:

  • uma_visit technical cookie: maximum 24 hours,
  • uma_notice_presented technical marker: within the browser session and subject to a maximum server-side technical-validity limit of 24 hours,
  • short-lived hash/technical-state records used for counts such as approximate unique visits and page transitions: maximum 48 hours,
  • daily aggregated analytics reporting records: for the limited reporting period not exceeding 365 days under the current measurement scope,
  • limited administrative audit records relating to anonymous report exports generated by an administrator: only to the extent of the authorised administrator identity and report-generation metadata, for the limited administrative retention period defined in the system.

This notice will be updated if measured dimensions, retention limits or analytics scope change.

10) Examples of Other Necessary / Technical Cookie Purposes

  • Session Management: Maintaining a user’s login state.
  • Basket and Checkout Operations: Maintaining products added to a basket and the checkout flow.
  • Security: CSRF protection, form security, session integrity and comparable safeguards.
  • Technical Preferences: Functional preferences such as language or basic interface settings.

11) Managing Cookies and the Information Layer

Users may view, delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Blocking necessary/technical cookies may affect site functions such as login, basket handling, checkout, form security or limited technical measurement.

Within the current limited measurement operation of Univermobil Analitik, measurement may be conducted after the relevant information layer has been presented to the browser on an eligible public page. This information layer does not itself create a record of acceptance, permission or marketing consent.

12) Relationship with Personal Data Information

Data that may be technically processed through cookies and similar technical tools is evaluated within Mechawork’s applicable information framework. For Univermobil Analitik as described in this notice, the anonymous/aggregated measurement boundary is maintained and no connection is made to private customer transaction flows.

For more comprehensive information regarding processing of personal data, the Privacy Notice under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law may be reviewed.
